Fans. Fixed fan with loop handle, decorated with Hindu deities. Production Place: Probably Southern India. Mica, painted white with applied gilt and silver 'jewels', mounted in cane; the handle is moulded and gilt and bound in red cotton; silk fringe in white, red, green, yellow and blue. Height, whole, 38.1 cm, width, whole, 44.6 cm, after 1801 to before 1900. Messel-Rosse Collection.
