Oval with punched bead edged border; the sides embossed and chased with flowers and foliage on a matted ground (later decorated); a vacant cartouche under the lip; standing on three cast scroll legs with hoof feet; with leaf-capped double scroll handle. Silver, height, to top of handle, 9.3 cm, width, lip to handle, 15.3 cm, weight, overall, 120 g, circa 1770. Rococo.
