Bowl. Jun ware. Circular with deep curved sides, standing on a footring. Oval label printed in black with a tower and 'Malcolm Collection', inscribed in blue black ink 'D./75'. Circular, inscribed in black '21'. Stoneware, covered in a pale blue glaze shading to purplish brown at the rim, and stopping short of the foot on the exterior. Height 7.4 cm, diameter 16.5 cm, 1000-1127. Northern Song (960-1127). Chinese. Acquisition Credit: Lent to the museum by Helen H. L. Whittow (nee Malcolm).
