A forest road. Gainsborough, Thomas (British, 1727-1788). Oil on canvas, height 62.8 cm, width 75.5 cm, circa 1750. A landscape drawing with much similarity of composition, in 1969 with Sabin Galleries, London, has been dated to the early 1750's.
