object type: Black basalt with rosso antico reliefs. Depressed campana form standing on a square plinth. The exterior is decorated with fruiting vine below the rim, and on each side of the plinth with a flower flanked by foliage; the foot is reeded. The interior is glazed dark brown. The circular cover (A) is black basalt with a central button-shaped knob decorated with a black star-like flower.
