object type: Cream satin embroidered with polychrome silks in Pekinese stitch with a little satin stitch and Peking knots, and couched gilt metallic thread.  Ruyi symbol at top;  flowering branch and two birds one side;  two flowering plants and two butterflies on other side.  Case partially lined with faded red silk damask, stiffened with thin board.   Side edges and tops bound with black and metallic thread woven ribbon.   Flat yellow cord with two pink glass beads.  Sewn-in end of black silk.
