object type: Pewter flagon. Straight sided, decorated with two broad bands, and the handle with the initials 'WT'. Hinged lid with moulded scroll thumbpiece and shallow wavy edged projection opposite.

The lid and/or the thumbpiece may be replacements. Handle has been re-fixed, and the initials probably inserted.
