The oval sauceboat is modelled in the shape of a strawberry leaf, the crabstock handle with flower, fruit, leaf and tendril terminals, the base also with applied leaves, flowers, fruit and tendrils, and with four rudimentary feet. It is painted inside and out with scattered flower sprays and insects, within a brown-edged rim.
