Description

Pear shaped lead-glazed earthenware jug, with horizontal ridges. Everted mouth with slightl lip. A smooth, greenish-yellow glaze over all, except near the flat base. Handle with three ridges.

Notes

History note: Found in the Ouse drainage near Ely
