The six sided stem has a large central lobed knop, which is set with lozenge shaped silver engraved and enamelled plaques. The low trumpet-shaped foot has a shaped circular spreading base with rim of twelve alternating semicircular and pointed lobes. It is engraved with six panels of alternating scrollwork and leaves on a matted ground, and is set with three applied silver plaques engraved and enamelled with two saints and a bishop. The cover is a six-sided cone surrounded by borders of cast crockets. Each side is set with a silver engraved and enamelled plaque representing Christ, a bishop or four saints.
