The concave underside is glazed, except for the flat area round the edge, and has a large oval ventilation hold under the support. The low, rounded, rocky mound base rises up at the back into a low pile of rocks which support the figure. The top is scattered with applied leaves and two flowers: purple and white, and yellow with a purple centre. She stands on her right leg with her left relaxed beside it. She leans back from the waist, looking down towards her right, holding her right hand up to toy with a tress of her greyish-brown hair which hangs over her shoulders. Her left hand rests on her hip. Her head is covered by a white bonnet, fastened under her chin with purple bow, and a quatrefoil 'garnet' pendant on her brow.
