The iron hilt is of Indo-Muslim type, with short quillons with rounded terminals, long langets with stylised bud finials, a rounded baluster grip, a thick, shallow dish pommel with a petalled washer, dome and finial. The whole hilt is covered with floral scrolls in silver koftgari.
