object type: The steel blade is double edged and double curved, with two fullers running down most of its length. The hilt comprises a steel guard and knucklebow, and grip and pommel of copper alloy, the pommel in the form of a parrot head. The guard is a narrow oval, with a finial at the top and bottom and a knucklebow ending in a recurved globular finial
