object type: Dish with floral designs. Stoneware, thrown, incised and celadon-glazed. This shallow saucer-shaped dish (chopsi) has a flared rim and a small foot. The inside is freely incised with a simplified chrysanthemum spray with two blooms, enclosed by a circular line. The brownish-green glaze is evenly applied, has a slight gloss but no crackle.  The glaze has been wiped from the footring which shows traces of four fire-clay spurs.
