object type: Silver; the sloping cylindrical sides with flared rim are engraved at the top with a band of strapwork containing three oval vignettes of the trades (a falconer, a woman spinning and a woman(?) with column).  Three-quarters of the way down the body is an applied band of spiky ornament.  Beneath this is a band of geometric ornament.  The slightly domed spreading circular foot is cast with alternating panels of winged cherub's heads and scrolls and flowers.
