Lacquered black inside and out. There are four iron bosses, onion-shaped with petalled flanges, at the centre, retaining iron loops inside with two leather straps and a square leather pad. The bosses are decorated with floral bands and petals. The surface inside and out is considerably chipped, especially around the suspension holes and at one side.
