It is covered with koftgari silver gilt foil punched with geometrical ornament. The haft is formed of a round iron tube, also covered in koftgari silver gilt foil and punched with three bands of decoration, two geometrical, one floral, separated by mouldings. The bottom finial, a rounded baluster, unscrews to reveal a short knife bladed stiletto.
