The iron hilt is of Indo-Muslim type, with short quillons with rounded terminals, medium length langets with stylised bud finials, a rounded baluster grip, wide, shallow dish pommel with a dome and pierced finial. The whole hilt is covered with floral scrolls in gold koftgari.
