There are two plume tubes. The skull is decorated with chiselled and gilt hunting scenes in which riders with spears, bows and swords slay a variety of wildlife. Around the base are calligraphic medallions in nastaliq. A mail aventail, formed of butted mail, is attached, formed of a fringe at the front, four deep and four shallow dags at the sides and rear. The mail is extensively damaged.
