object type: Bowl with twin-fish motifs. Stoneware, thrown, inlaid with black and white slip and celadon-glazed. This rounded bowl has a recessed centre and a low foot. The inside is inlaid with a classic-scroll rim border in white slip and with three medallions showing pairs of black fish in a white ring. The glaze is evenly applied, of pale bluish-green jade colour, with a subtle gloss and without any crackle.  The footring has three quartzite spur-marks.
