object type: Silver, parcel-gilt.  The spoon's small oval bowl is attached by two loops on its back to a two-pronged fork.  The handle of the fork is formed from a gilt cylinder within an openwork silver cylinder, which is decorated with cut-out oval shapes.  At the base of the handle is an applied openwork scroll set with a red stone.  The finial is formed as an articulated model of a man in a short skirt pushing a wheelbarrow, which slides up and down the handle.  The man's hat is set with a red stone and his back with a green stone.  The lid of the barrow is set with a blue stone, which lifts up to reveal a baby.  Three green stones are set round the mechanism holding the cogged wheel on the handle.
