object type: Silver; the fig-shaped bowl is attached to the handle by a flat lozenge shape, which enables the spoon to stand.  The hollow pentagonal handle terminates with an applied shield.  The back of the bowl is engraved with three stylised flowers and foliage.  The flat base of the handle is engraved with a flower.  The front and two sides of the handle are engraved with a pattern of dots and dashes, and the back is engraved with two acanthus leaves.  The terminal is prick engraved '1666''.
