Porcelain, thrown, shaped, inscribed in cobalt-blue and glazed. The straight neck of this piece is slightly everted and the cylindrical body facetted, but the edges are smoothed to give it a softer appearance. The six sides of the body are inscribed in underglaze-blue with the characters kmjng ogaeg, yngdo sru, mansu mugang, which can be translated; `Essence of gold and dewdrops of jade, Eternal as the peach, snow-white as the lotus root. For bountiful longevity without limits.' The pale bluish-white glaze is evenly applied.
