object type: Fruit wood; the oval bowl and tapering handle are carved all over with religious subjects and figures.  The interior of the bowl depicts the Ascension of Christ. The back of the bowl depicts the Passions of Christ and the Crucifixion, all within inscribed borders.  The handle depicts a column of various figures including Christ and saints, and terminates in the figure of a praying angel.
