object type: Wood (possibly olive), coral, and silver; the fig-shaped bowl and long narrow handle are carved from a dark wood, possibly olive.  The silver ferrule at the join of the bowl and handle has a border of stiff leaves and is engraved with four quatrefoils on a matted ground.  There is a band of silver leaves and beads half way up the stem, and a silver ferrule at the join of the handle to the narrow facetted coral terminal.
