object type: Wood, silver and steel; the knife has a steel pointed scimitar-shaped blade with polymorphic bolster on an ebony tapering octagonal section handle.  The handle is inlaid with silver wires and small circles to form a geometric pattern.   There is a narrow silver ferrule and a silver terminal cap.  The fork has two long steel tines and an ebony handle which is decorated similarly to the knife.
