The closed underside is unglazed and has a small circular central ventilation hole. The circular, high rocky mound base has frilled scrolls around the edge, and on top, three applied flowers beween leaves, one blue, and the others red and white and purple and white respectively. The putto stands on his left leg with right knee relaxed. His head is turned to his right and he holds a lyre (upper part missing) in both hands.
