The oval locket-centre bears a crown over the cipher of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, worked in diamonds and set on a blue enamelled guilloche field with a diamond set white enamelled border. The mount is set with pearls, gold Prince of Wales’ feathers and a facsimile of his signature ‘Albert Edward P.’
