object type: Double edged pointed steel blade. Central groove bisecting inlaid brass rectangular cartouche with finials inscribed one side, inscription other side badly rubbed, set in walrus ivory hilt with two rivets headed with two brass mounts each with a turquoise set in silver. Sheath with red leather one side, red velvet the other. Riello silver mounts stylized flower decoration, gold damascened steel band in a ring.
