Shape: biconical bowl with in-turned neck and rim sits on a disc base Interior: coated in a white slip, incised on the neck with a stylised pseudo calligraphic band. On the body birds of varying size are carved against a background of scrolling palmettes and half palmettes. The glaze pools in one area of the lower body and scar marks indicate impurities in the clay.
