object type: Bone china, press-moulded, painted underglaze in blue, and overglaze in iron red, two shades of green, and gold . London-shape with angular handle. Decorated on the exterior sides with shaped panels, altenately blue with an iron red lotus flower and gold leaves, and white with smaller red flowers, green leaves and gold tendrils. Above and below there is a gold band. The neck is plain with a gold band round the rim, the inside of which is decorated with a continuous spray of gold leaves with underglaze blue berries at regular intervals.  On the back of the handle there are six fern-like leaves of graduated size. Pattern 1411.
