object type: Brown wool warp.   Similar weft.   Plain weave centre.   Wool pile corners to fold inwards to form a bag.   Symmetric knot.
Sides oversewn brown wool.   Two ends of flat weave, turned and sewn with applied red plaited "braid".
The plain weave centre decorated with a serrated lozenge motif in black wool stitching.   Corners, ivory ground with red and blue hooked motifs;  main borders of polychrome repeat lozenge motifs, outer border of repeat "arrow" motifs.
