object type: Cotton, embroidered with polychrome silk, gilt plate, and gilt thread, in double darning, double running, satin, pulled fabric, and eyelet stitches.   At each end a 0.75" deep horizontal band with eleven repeats of a mosque and cypress pattern, with a shallow bowl with flowers and leaves between them.   Above a band formed by four repeats of a landscape pattern comprising a mosque, trees, flowers, and flights of birds.
