object type: Cotton, terry weave, with 14.75" at one end and 11.75" at the other end in twill weave, with threads at each end ravelled out to form 0.5" fringes.   Embroidered with polychrome silk and gilt thread in diagonal, double darning, double running, fishbone and satin stitches.    Each end embroidered with  three similar asymmetric flower sprays;  diaper patterned border.   At one end a one inch deep band of pulled weft threads.
