object type: Off-white earthenware painted under blue-tinted lead-glaze in blue, green, yellow, dark yellow, and brown. the circular plate has a wavy edge, a sloping rim, curved sides and flat centre, and stands on a slight footring.  The well is decorated with a peacock perching on a stylized tree with four branches. The rim is edged in blue On the reverse of the rim there are three sets of three spur marks
