At one side of the mouth is a small cut and key-hole. Around the shoulder is a collar with a slightly rougher surface, flecked with yellow. Brown (iron or manganese) stain around the opening continues down through the cut, over the collar, and into an incised pendulum-like decoration which runs down to the base.
