object type: Small, spherical bowl with base drawn down to a very narrow foot and the top of the sphere open forming a wide mouth. At one side of the mouth is a small cut and key-hole. Around the shoulder is a collar with a slightly rougher surface, flecked with yellow. Brown (iron or manganese) stain around the opening continues down through the cut, over the collar, and into an incised pendulum-like decoration which runs down to the base. The underside has a narrow foot-ring.
