Of ovoid shape with a projecting lip, applied handle with a slight kick at the lower end, and a circular foot. On the front are the engraved script initials AB below joined sprays of hops (right) and barley (left). Below the initials there is a small bird holding a twig in its beak hovering over two fern fronds. On either side of the neck there are bunches of three fern fronds.
