object type: Clear colourless blown glass with applied milled trails, pincereded ribs, and wheel-engraved decoration. The globular body has a slight kick underneath, and rises into a tall slender neck with an applied milled band below the mouth which is slightly crooked. The upper end of the handle is applied below the band, and joins the body on its shoulder. The sides are decorated with eight equally spaced vertical pinched trails which rise from the pontil mark in the base, and at the top, join a milled band round the base of the neck. Between the vertical trails there are four wheel-engraved rose sprays alternating with four  tall slender plants with spire-like flowers. On the neck there are three sprays of foliage and round buds, and round the top of the neck, a border of paired leaves on a continuous stem.
