The càntir stands on a domed foot moulded with shallow radiating ribbing. The rounded conical body and a bulb at its base are moulded with wrythen fluting. On one side of the shoulder there is a wide sloping spout with an applied trail round its mouth with points at either end and a pincered projection below. On the the opposite side it has a tall slender upright spout with a pincered projection below. On each side of the shoulder there is an applied trail, pincered into spikes.
