Brass balance, banking pins projecting down and working against slide plate ends. Silver regulation dial engraved 'A' and 'R'. Plain cock for fusee pivot. Plain counter-potance secured to top of back plate. Turned fusee iron post. Adjustable potance, blued steel end piece to counter-potance, adjusting screw working against plate. Conical polished steel case bolt, in slot in plate. Joint replaced, and does not fit in brass edge. Pilla plate with four turned pillars with single ring and tapered towards pillar plate. Sunk centre wheel. Third wheel bar. Scratched '2841' under-dial. Fusee and chain, set-up click under dial, barrel with one lip. Verge escapement. Train planted anti-clockwise. DIAL: White enamel on copper, counter enamel inscribed '2841', three feet. Radial Arabic quarter figure, half quarters marked with fleur-de-lis, dot minute ring, radial Arabic chapters. CASE: Silver, insied gilt, single backed consular. HM London 1832. Case maker 'F pellet F' in oval cameo. Back engraved 'LWR' in script.
