MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'G. Graham 6590 London'. Balance cock with symmetrical pierced and engraved table having mask at neck, foot engraved, underside stamped '6590'. Polished steel end piece with cut diamond end stone, pierced balance jewel. Polished steel balance. Engraved slide plate with silver regulation dial having radial Arabic figures 5 to 30. Pierced fusee iron post. Blued steel case bolt, in slot in plate. Potance with foot having moulding at end, screwed to plate. Pillar plate with four square section baluster pillars, chain guard, third wheel bar. Under dial stamped '6590' near centre. Fusee and chain, tangent set-up under barrel, barrel with one lip. Cylinder escapement with steel cylinder and brass wheel, long brush. Train planted clockwise. BRASS EDGE: With four feet, gilt over third wheel cut out. DIAL: White enamel on copper, four feet. Radial Arabic 5 minute figures, ladder minute ring, radial Roman chapters and inner circle. HANDS: Blued steel beetle and poker. CAP: Engraved 'Geo. Graham London' on oval table. Semi-circular regulation slot, winding tube, blued steel with polished top, flat slide. Side bump over barrel. '6590' scratched on the inside of table. INNER CASE: Gold, plain with disc over winding hole. London hallmark 1752, incised case maker's mark script 'JW' under a crossed lines star. Plain bezel. OUTER CASE (A): Gold repousse band with large clear/milky white agate back, secured by brass c ring pinned to band. Four rectangle clear/milky white agates inserted in bezel. Some unused fixing pin holes in the gold band and the use of brass, not gilt, pins indicates the back is a replacement.
