Balance cock with pierced and engraved table with ears, mask at nect, foot pierced and engraved with border. Brass balance. Slide plate pierced and engraved with wavy edge, silver regulation dial with radial Arabic figures 1 to 6. Fusee iron post pierced. Case bolt with flat decorated foot, nib through dial. Potance and counter-potance riveted to plate. Pillar plate with four square section baluster pillars, shallow centre wheel recess (replaced joint). Fusee and chain, click set-up under dial, barrel with one lip. Verge escapement. Train planted anti-clockwise. BRASS EDGE: Three feet, engraved outside dial recess. DIAL: Silver champleve, three feet. Outer 5 minute cushions with radial Arabic figures, ladder minute ring, radial Roman chapters, inner ring, central hole with disc behind. Disc with plaques above and below engraved 'MARTIN' and 'LONDON'. The quality of engraving on the disc is not up to the standard of the rest of the dial.
