DESCRIPTIVE DATA

object type: Large black stoneware anthropomorphic standing figure, made up of four joined sections. 
1) The head, made of a broad squat hand built circular jar, turned on its side, with the short narrow neck representing a jar.
2) Two thrown tapering jars, flattened and joined at their bases, placed horizontally under the head to represent arms and torso.
3) A hand built strong curved cylinder to represent legs and hips.
4) A thick rectangular slab base.
A thin grey-green wash has been applied in places.
