A hand-coloured lithographed cut-out of Cupid with doves and blue net 'cloud' at upper centre. A gilt-edged oval flap is attached at the centre and decorated with a chromolithograph of flowers and the motto: 'True love watches over thee'. A hand-written inscription in blue ink above reads: 'What you are to me' and the flap lifts up to reveal a folded strip of pink paper which when unfolded, reveals a series of hand-written epithets relating to the intended recipient: 'Duck o' Diamonds / Pet of Pearls / Ruby Red / Gem of Girls ...'.
