object type: Heart-shaped card with silvered embossed lace-paper front sheet of a flower garland design with a collage of dark blue silk leaves, green feathers and silver and gold tinsel ornaments. A fabric leaf is mounted at upper left (right-hand leaf is missing) with printed medallion on a paper spring with the motto: "Forget me not." The front sheet is mounted on paper springs to a second layer of lace-paper. A window at the centre contains a chromolithographed flower arrangment within a heart-shaped frame of gilt embossed paper. The back paper is inscribed with a handwritten dedication: "Ever your [...] / [?J] S H." Almost identical to another card, P.14411-R-43, mounted onto the same album leaf. Both cards use the same silvered embossed design, but with different scraps and collage elements.
