The recipient's name intended to be added. Inside the card on the right-hand page is a further hand-coloured lithograph of a hand holding five playing cards, the central card featuring an image of two hearts pierced with an arrow, the two to either side featuring pictures of babies. A lithographed verse on the inside left-hand page: 'The pretty game of / Matrimony is played / by two persons, sometimes / they turn up trumps, / otherwise they shuffle / and deal with each other / as best they can.
