A central oval window with a rice-paper blind, hand-painted in watercolour and gouache with a design of flowers, leaves and a bird. The edges of the rice-paper are painted with a border of alternating red and blue lines. A paper swag affixed at lower centre has a lithographed verse in gold ink: 'A heart that boasts a / tender flame / Sincere and constant too / Long time has tried your / love to claim, / And vows 'twill e'er be true'. The front paper is adhered to the back paper.
