A very amateurish etching with foul biting and worked to the edges of the plate. A short, rotund figure seen from behind, wearing a wig, an academic gown, tricorn hat and holding a staff in his left hand. The sheet has been trimmed, with pen and ink inscriptions located above and below the platemark slightly cropped: 'Paris Bookseller Cambridge'; 'Cambridge clod Beef'. It is not clear if these inscriptions relate to the image as title(s). The identity of the figure is probably the lawyer and senior fellow of Trinity College, Samuel Peck.
