One dress is a very pale pink, the other a very pale green, the other deep blue, the roses are pale pink with deep green leaves. The lady in the green dress wears a wide brimmed bonnet, tied beneath her chin with a ribbon. The figures and plants are outlined, and detail added, in black-brown. The image is set against a ground of green grass and blue sky. The inside of the neck is soft yellow.
