object type: Tall moulded earthenware straight-sided vase with fluted foot and rim; a thin strap handle, modelled with a ‘buckle’, rising from above half-way to rim on either side. Decorated with highly stylised tube-lined flower and foliage design in shades of pale turquoise-green and ochre, against a mottled green ground. The inner surfaces and underside covered with a ochre-tinged clear glaze.
